The Earthmaker process is simple. No need for digging, turning and transferring material as in the traditional three bin method of composting.
No need for regular turning and mixing of the compost and none of the problems with keeping mature compost and fresh waste separated that are associated with single bin composting.
Gravity does the hard work, just a few minutes of your time each month to move the contents from chamber to chamber, with very little effort for a regular supply of compost.
The three chambers have a total capacity of 466 litres and the bin stands 1.2 metres tall with a diameter of 75cm. Earthmaker can make an excellent contribution to reducing greenhouse gases. It may be the best solution for your household's organic waste.

Place your Earthmaker on a level site approximately one metre in diameter. A firm, flat base of brick, paving slabs or timber will stop the Earthmaker from tipping forward, allow for good drainage and easy removal of compost and prevent rodents from burrowing in.
